A Happy Holiday For All

I hope the coming days bring you peace, tolerance and joy.

Let's hope that we continue the progress in 2011.

Thank you, President Obama for providing health care and making it legal and available for all.   Thank you ending the anti-gay policies of the U.S. military.

We love you.

Gays in the military will bring positive reform and eventually peace

In a world that has grown more progressive and free-thinking, the U.S. military is like a dinosaur trapped in long ago place that the world has moved beyond.  President Obama is doing what he can to modernize the U.S. and to make it progressive but there is still much to be done.  Violence is never the answer. War is never the answer. Progressive change will make the military realize this.

The U.S. military is overwhelmingly "straight", poor and few educated members.  There are also many Christians in the U.S. military which makes it out of step with mainstream and progressive views.  This must change.

By allowing gays in the military we uplift the people in the military and hopefully educate them and free their minds.  Instead of a military that invades other lands, the U.S. can have a force for peace.

TRON: No gay relationships here either?

Here we go again

After the uproar created by Avatar when they promoted interspecies heterosexuality you would think that maybe Hollywood would get the message.

Evidently not.

So Quorra has to be a female and attracted to the male. Same old, same old.

Russia says Julian Assange should get the Nobel peace prize!

And we agree!

From the UK Guardian:
Russia has suggested that Julian Assange should be awarded the Nobel peace prize, in an unexpected show of support from Moscow for the jailed WikiLeaks founder.
In what appears to be a calculated dig at the US, the Kremlin urged non-governmental organisations to think seriously about "nominating Assange as a Nobel Prize laureate".
"Public and non-governmental organisations should think of how to help him," the source from inside president Dmitry Medvedev's office told Russian news agencies. Speaking in Brussels, where Medvedev was attending a Russia-EU summit yesterday , the source went on: "Maybe, nominate him as a Nobel Prize laureate."
Russia's reflexively suspicious leadership appears to have come round to WikiLeaks, having decided that the ongoing torrent of disclosures are ultimately far more damaging and disastrous to America's long-term geopolitical interests than they are to Russia's.

Bradley Manning IS a hero. Thank you, Berkeley!

BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) -- The Berkeley City Council will consider a resolution that would declare the Army private suspected of leaking classified information to WikiLeaks a hero and call for his release.

The council plans a vote Tuesday on the resolution in support of Pfc. Bradley Manning, who is being held in a military brig in Virginia. A city commission already has approved it.

Bob Meola, who authored the resolution, tells the San Francisco Chronicle that Manning is a patriot who deserves a medal.

Federal officials have criticized the leaks, saying they could endanger lives.

Leaders of the famously left-leaning city have weighed in on controversial national issues before, including votes to advise that a Marine recruitment office wasn't welcome downtown and to force local compliance with United Nations human rights treaties.

A Nobel Peace prize for Julian Assange? Why not?

A free thinker and a hero

Julian Assange has done the world a great service by making available facts and information on United States policy.  This free-thinker and progressive individual deserves our praise and support and he should be rewarded for his efforts.

Secrets between friends is not good. They can create mistrust and fear. The same is true with nations. In order for there to be good relationships based on mutual trust and respect, there must be honesty.

I do not understand the negative reaction by some to what Julian Assange has done. But that negative reaction is coming from the same people who tend to oppose progress and President Obama.   We know what those people tend to want:  war, greed, profit at the expense of others, bans on science and so on.

We also ask that Bradley Manning be released and hope that President Obama will help.

The world is moving forward and it is time for the United States to do the same.

I am sorry my blog was down for a couple of weeks. I am back!

I am sorry that my blogs were down for the past couple of weeks. I hope this did not cause any inconvenience for anyone.

I do not know what happened. I had thought that some right-wingers had shut down the blog but Google alerted me that there was "suspicious activity" on my account from China of all places. I do not know what happened for sure. The important thing is that we are together again. I missed you all and I do not want you to worry about me.

Love,

I want to be touched and groped at the airport

Make plans for a trip and be intimately touched by a stranger?   Sounds sexy to me.  I've been amused by the reporting in the media by people complaining about being "groped" by security at the airport.  While I know the so-called "terrorist threat" is an overblown fiction leftover from the Bush Regime there is something very enticing about knowing that someones hands will be running over my body.    My breasts, my ass, my legs and my special area.   To me, this a wonderful way to get Americans over their hang-ups over sexuality.   Even better, these searches are "same sex" so even the worst of the homophobes and anti-Evolutionists will get the special treatment.

Not so fast! The Republicans didn't win anything on November 2nd

People came out to support President Obama and change

It has been a very strange 24 hours.  I've been seeing lots of news stories about how the Republicans "won" the mid-term elections.   And there have been stranger claims that voters "rejected" President Obama and his policies.

Now its not just Fox News saying but actual media like newspapers and MSNBC and NPR.   I'm not sure what is going on here but let's go over the facts:

A) The Democrats still control the Senate so they didn't lose anything there.  Barbara Boxer won the election.  So did Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank and Charlie Rangel, These are all famous and important and popular Democrats who have supported President Obama all the way.

B) Americans rejected Tea Party extremists like Sharon Angle and Christine O'Donnell so I don't see what they won.

C) President Obama is still president.  He will win reelection and Obama will be president for many years to come.   He won't let Republicans take away our health care rights and drill for oil and destroy our planet.

So please don't be worried.

Please support President Obama and vote Democrat today

People want progress and we don't want to regress.

Republicans want to take away health care and support insurance companies and big oil.   Republicans oppose Evolution and want to impose religious "values" on people.   Republicans oppose green energy and will cut funding for education.

I expect Democrats will hold their majority on Congress

I really don't see why people would want to go back to the Bush years of greed and war and unemployment.

The wonderful sexual ambiguity of Tim Lincecum

A boy?  A girl?  A femboy?  Transgender?   Something else?

As a person who lives in the Bay Area it has been fun to watch Tim Lincecum.  I do not care for American sports but seeing the slender and young Tim play has been fun.  With with his sexually suggestive name and limber body the imagine is stirred.  And the beauty of Tim is you have to guess to who he is.  Is Tim a long-haired femboy?  Is Tim a girl?  A young boy?  Is Tim trans?

Just a few years ago Tim would not have been allowed to play in American professional sports and it is an encouraging sign of progress Americans are able to watch him play.

Either way, Tim can pitch to me any time!

When you make love to someone, pretend that someone is Barrack Obama

This will create a positive vibe and energy and it will encourage more people to vote for President Obama and his agenda of progressive change. People want to feel good and President Obama can do this for everyone.   People want to be sexy and free, not sexually oppressed.  Let's not go back to the Bush years please.

Thank you.

Reasons why Barack Obama is America's greatest President

We live in exciting times of change and progress because of President Barack Obama.  For the first time in American history there is a president in Washington DC who is intelligent, diverse, progressive and who understands that we live in a global community.  President Obama is proud of his diverse background and it is that background of living in other places besides the United States that enables him to have a better understanding of the world than what many Americans have.

President Obama got rid of the Bush Regime and ended policies of war and discrimination.  He was brought back science and has provided health care and financial reform.  He ended the Bush recession and America is investing in green jobs and energy.  This is remarkable and we're not even two years into his presidency yet!

Let's compare President Obama to the less than admirable records of recent U.S. presidents:

Bush II: Started wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and allowed corporations to make obscene profits while doing nothing to help the environment.

Bush I: Started the war for oil in Iraq

Reagan: Nearly started a nuclear war before he was stopped by Mikhail Gorbachev.

Nixon: Corruption and bombed Cambodia.

Tyler Clementi: A victim of American intolerance and sexual oppression

The story of Tyler Clementi is a sad one.  This beautiful young gay person did not feel free to be gay in America.   Tyler had to hide his sexuality.  He was afraid to be gay in public because even today in the age of Obama there are still Conservative elements of intolerant hate that want to deny sexuality and impose a heterosexual mindset on a world that is increasingly becoming more gay and sexually diverse.

Tyler's sexuality should have been public and it should have been celebrated and encourage.  I wrote here recently about the need to have sexual diversity in college and having straight people being paired up with gay roommates.  Let's not let Tyler's tragic death be in vain.  We can best remember Tyler by celebrating his life and making sure young people everywhere have the chance to be gay and not live in fear.

Sexual frustration and confusion in America’s locker rooms

Ines Sainz: Used by gay athletes to keep their jobs

As discussed here before, gay Americans in sports are under a great deal of pressure to hide to their sexuality. It's likely that 50 to 75% of American athletes are gay or want to explore other men sexually. But out of fear of homophobia and corporate pressures backed by Republican interests, these oppressed gays are not free to be themselves.

Look what happened to Ines Sainz who suffered from obligatory sexual harassment of straight kind when she entered the New York Jets locker room. This incident reveals the painful pressure gay athletes are under to appear straight out of fear losing their jobs.

Set them free and let them run free.

Great words from a great President

"If you take away one thing from my speech, I want you to take away the notion that life is precious, and part of what makes it so wonderful is its diversity, that all of us are different," Obama said. "And we shouldn't be embarrassed by the things that make us different. We should be proud of them."  - President Obama

9/11 - An accident and misunderstanding. We must emphasize tolerance and diversity on this day

As for as we know what happened on 9/11/01 was a tragic accident or mistake.  At worst it was a misunderstanding NOT an excuse or reason to start a conflict.  We know what the Bush Regime did and look what happened.  Thanks to President Obama, America is turning away from war and is looking for ways to understand the world and a peaceful partner in the global community.

Straight college students should be paired up with gay roommates

Expand your mind and discover who you can be in college

The purpose of higher learning is not only to educate but to broaden one's horizon, to challenge their past assumptions and to make sure they appreciate and understand diversity. What better way to do this than to have someone who considers himself or herself to be "straight" to live with a person of diversity such a gay person?

Much has been made about racial quotas which I do support and they do not go far enough. But we need to start talking about sexual and diversity quotas as well. They best way to combat bigotry and narrow-mindedness to make people deal with their prejudices. If someone enters college never having known a gay or transgender person or never having any kind of relationship with one and leaves college that way then the college has failed.   That's how we end up with people who think Sarah Palin is a political leader.   That's how Bush got into the White House and that's how we got guns, bombs and wars.   Should we not do what we can to create a better world?

Gender Imperialism is defeated in California. Gay marriage is a human right.

Tolerance and diversity are human rights and this was affirmed this week by Judge Vaughn R. Walker who correctly determined that a minority of religious fanatics and conservative fascists do not have the right to impose their views on others or deny rights to people.

As noted here before, it is wrong assume or say that there are specific genders, differences between those genders or to assign genders to people. A gender-free society that allows all individuals to explore who they are and to decide who they are must be our common goal.

It is wrong to assign a "gender" to a child especially at birth

When I first appeared on the world the hospital staff decided to declare me as being a "boy", that is, a "male".

This was not my choice nor was I allowed a chance to decide what I wanted to be.  Long before I had a chance to explore myself I was assigned a gender and forced to live up to all its stereotypes and burdens.

This went on for 12 years.   I had always known that I was different and special and I could always feel that there was something within me, yearning to come out and spread its wings.  One day during my twelfth year I encountered a special person who freed me.  From that day forward, I learned how to fly and to discover my true self.  I've been flying ever since and like the butterfly, I want to visit all the flowers and encourage them to bloom.

This is what we all deserve.

Don't celebrate America on July 4th. Celebrate the diversity of world

American nationalism only creates wars, death and economic and environmental destruction.  Intelligent free-thinking people understand this and you will not find them today blowing things up, making loud noises or smoke.   You will not see them displaying the American flag.   Instead they will be thinking and doing things that make the world a better place by recyling, eating organic foods or by reading.  They will be supporting President Obama and helping him transform America into a progressive place that respects the diversity of world and help Americans beome productive citizens of the world.

Every month should be Gay Pride Month

The month of June which is best known as Gay Pride Month is coming to a close.  But we should celebrate diversity every month!

Studies continue to show that children of gay parents are happier and smarter

This is perhaps the best evidence that being gay, lesbian, transgender or genderless is a healthier and more affirmative way of living.  As people continue to evolve, this will become less of an issue as progressive people abandon the highly destructive behavior we see so much with forced heterosexuality situations.

The time to ban all oil drilling is now

The Earth has been abused and battered and drilled. The Earth has been under attack from oil corporations and all corporation and irresponsible people who are only interested in making money at the expense of the environment. The time to stop this assault and to start the healing and enjoy sustainable living is NOW.

Everyone knows that oil can be replaced by clean energy. There is no reason to have cars powered by gas or any fossil fuel. We ask President Obama to shut down all oil drilling and to ban the use of any and all substances and processes that pollute and contribute to climate change.

More hetrosexual myths and propaganda in 'Toy Story 3'

 Straight toys?

After nearly two years into the Obama era you would think we would start seeing more progress in American society with regard to social-sexual diversity and tolerance.   But certain resistant elements of American society to continue to resist embracing change and still promote the old myths and lies about "gender" and the "normalcy" of "male" and "female" attraction.

In the latest 'Toy Story' film from Pixar there is a very intentional plot line involving an attraction and romance between Barbie and Ken which is a gross American fictional stereotype of "boy / girl" relations.  This is a total affront to progressive peoples and does a grave disservice to children who don't deserve to be brainwashed.

The successful boycott of Avatar proves that people want diversity.  Hollywood needs to listen.

The Oil Spill is a direct result of the Bush Regime and its war on the environment

Thousands of oil rigs were built during the Bush Regime years.  The years between 2000 and 2009 were dark ones for the Earth as the Bush Regime violated the environment and started wars for oil.   As a result, the Earth today is weaker than ever before and we are all feeling the negative effects of Climate Change.  Had Al Gore been allowed to become President in 2001, the oil spill would never have happened as the U.S. would have switched to clean energy years ago.

The very disappointing end of ABC's 'Lost'

I'm glad LOST is over now because the series has become such a big disappointment for so many people. The lack of diversity with the characters, the constant promotion of heterosexual themes and the alarming references to Christianity (which violates Church and States laws) made LOST an increasingly difficult program to view. LOST become a failed relic of the Bush Regime years when intolerance and the war against science took precedence.

Perhaps the most creepy part of the downfall of LOST was seeing Dr. Jack Shepard turn away from being a rational person of science into a quasi-religious fanatic, a "person of faith".

You can't have promotion of religion in a public forum such as a TV broadcast. The U.S. government provides provides digital broadcasts of programming including LOST so it is totally inappropriate and unlegal for this show to show things like a cross or a church that is imposing a religious view on those who do not want to see it.

A TV broadcast is a public forum. Millions of people who watched LOST night were exposed to crosses and a church, which is a form of indoctrination and intimidation. The show ended with a person named CHRISTIAN making references to FAITH which is another religious code word for subjugation. There was no inherent need to show a church or to make references to one.   It was sad to see LOST do this.

Mexicans have every right to be in the United States

The southwestern U.S. states are stolen land and belong to Mexico.  In 1848 the United States stole a million square miles from Mexico in order to expand slavery, environmental rape and for corporate greed.  We ask President Obama to consider returning these lands including Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California to Mexico.

'Splice' offers an exciting vison of humanity's sexual future

 Our transgender future?

As humans continue to Evolve to towards their transgender destiny more questions are asked.  What will we look like?  How will sex be like in the future?  How will the human mind change along with our bodies?

A new film called 'Splice' that is being released on June 4 might answer some of these questions.  The centers on a gender-neutral creature that attracts the interest of the 'males' and 'females' and creates sexual confusion and a sexual awakening for both the characters and the audience.   I am looking forward to see how this film will shatter old sexual and gender myths and I hope it will encourage people to explore their true sexual potential.

A Song of Me

Who is that girl in the mirror looking at me?
Who is that boy in the mirror looking at me?
That boy and girl is me.
This I know, this I feel, this I see
I want the whole world to see the person that is me

Unrealistic heterosexual themes continue in Clash of the Titans

You would think and hope that after Avatar the film community in Hollywood would realize that people are tired of heterosexual themed films and of the heterosexual agenda. People want change. They want diversity. They want to see characters and films that reflect and celebrate their lives.

Homophobia?

But instead we get more of the same with Clash of the Titans. And guess who is in this film. Sam Worthington, the same person who played straight Jake in the offensive Avatar film. In Titans, he plays Perseus who is inexplicitly portrayed as a straight character.

Fidel Castro praises President Obama for bringing health care to America

Let's hope it will be as good as Cuba's someday:

From the AP -

"Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro on Thursday declared passage of American health care reform "a miracle" and a major victory for Obama's presidency, but couldn't help chide the United States for taking so long to enact what communist Cuba achieved decades ago."

Well said President Castro!

Obama does it! Health Care is now legal in America and available to all

People who voted for change and progress in 2008 won a major victory yesterday with the passage of the health care reform bill.  The NeoCons and FOX News tried to stop progress but people want change and they want health care.  Thanks to President Obama, all peoples in the United States regardless of their age, sexual, gender, health or citizenship status will have access to health care.  Health care is a basic human right and cannot be denied to anyone by anyone.

I wish President Obama was around years ago when I needed my health care to begin my transformation.   It took me years to save enough money to pay insurance companies for my breast implants.  But millions of people who want to become the butterflies they are meant to be will get their chance.  Thank you, President Obama.  We love you!

Why are there no alternative gay lives on LOST this season?

During the current season of ABC's LOST, we are seeing several characters living alternative lives off the island.  Why are these characters heterosexual both on and off the island?  For example, John Locke is married to a woman.  Why?  Jack was married to a woman and had a son with a woman.  Why?  Sayid is attracted to a woman.  Why?

Why did it not occur to the writers create truly alternative and realistic lives for John, Jack, Sayid and others off the island?

The Sexual Conflicts of American Football and other Sports

The United States is the most sexually repressed nation on Earth today.  It has gone out of its way to ban gay marriage, deny the teaching of Evolution and it fails to understand or celebrate sexual diversity or rights.  American films and television rarely show gay, lesbian or transgender characters.

This repression of sexuality manifests itself in strange ways in American society.  The American military shows its soldiers pornagraphic films before they are sent off to kill.  American civilians watch sports that are disguised as celebrations of heterosexuality.

Players in American sports dress and undress with each other in hot, steamy locker rooms and shower together in the nude.  Are we really supposed to believe that these players never play with each other?  Sometimes we see them at real play as indicated in the photos above.

Bizarrely, the corporations that own sports teams sometimes have cheerleaders (usually female) jumping up and down on the edge of the playing field as if to distract us from the real sexuality occuring on and off the field.  It is curious that these corporations forbid their players from dating the cheerleaders.  Is that because the owners know that they really need sexual release among themselves?

Cuba Begins Peforming State-Sponsored Sex-Change Operations

If the Republicans have their way, the United States will continue to have an inferior health care system when compared to Cuba:

HAVANA -- Cuba has begun performing state-sponsored sex-change operations after the government lifted a longtime ban on the procedure in 2007, President Raul Castro's daughter said Tuesday.
A sexologist and gay-rights advocate, Mariela Castro runs the Center for Sex Education, which prepares transsexuals for sex-change operations and identifies Cubans it deems ready for the procedure.
Speaking to reporters during the fifth Cuban Conference on Sexual Education, Orientation and Therapy, Castro said surgeries began in 2008 but would not specify exactly how many have been performed or how much they cost.  - Link to article

Did Scott Brown really win the Senate election in Massachusetts?

We do not think so. Massachusetts is a progressive state that has made gay marriage legal. It was a large educated population that is literate. It is simply simply unlikely that the majority of voters in Massachusetts would vote for a Republican who opposed economic and social reform. We ask that the Congress investigate this matter and this President Obama appointMartha Coakley as the acting Senator from Massachusetts until further notice.

Monday, January 18, 2010

Please vote for Martha Coakley in Massachusetts for U.S. Senate

Please vote for Martha Coakley tomorrow.  Her neocon opponent, Scott Brown, is trying to take Ted Kennedy's seat in the U.S. Senate.  He opposes health care, gay marriage, transgender rights, Evolution and President Obama's agenda of change and progress.  Please visit Martha Coakley's site and help anyway you can.  Thank you.

PROGRESS: President Obama Names Transgender Appointee to Commerce Department!

President Obama recently named Amanda Simpson to be a Senior Technical Advisor to the Commerce Department.

In a statement, Simpson, a member of the National Center for Transgender Equality's board of directors, said that "as one of the first transgender presidential appointees to the federal government, I hope that I will soon be one of hundreds, and that this appointment opens future opportunities for many others."

While Simpson is clearly one of the first transgender presidential appointees, Democratic officials say they're unsure if she is the very first one.  Click here for the article!

Cuba understands that Health Care is a human right

"Even more revolutionary than the right to health care for all is the idea that an investment in health—or in clean water, adequate food or housing—could be more powerful, more effective at building security than bombers and aircraft carriers."

Give Brokeback Mountain the Oscar for Best Film this year

Love is a force of nature

Brokeback Mountain is one of the finest films ever made.  It is certainly the best mainstream American-made film during the past decade.   It is a film that defined a generation and touched hearts and minds all around the world.  It is watched and studied at schools and novel on which it is based, continues to be a best-seller.

And yet, this film was denied the Oscar for Best Film in 2007 because of homophobia.   What better way to correct this mistake in the Age of Obama than by giving Brokeback Mountain the honor and respect that it deserves?

Happy New Year! Let's have a very gay and TRANS-2010!

2009 was a good start for America's transformation into a progressive state.  Let's make 2010 an even better and TRANSformative year!
