"Occupy Black Friday" - Say no to corporate greed and corporate profit

"The idea is simple, hit the corporations that corrupt and control American politics where it hurts, their profits,"
http://www.facebook.com/OccupyBF

It it time to start making the corporations hire people. There's always a reason to hire. People who aren't intelligent or creative enough to find a good reason to hire people have no business running a company.

We can make the economy even better with tax increases, especially on the rich

I write this because it is the truth.   It is a proven fact.   I know that the Conservatives will deny it of course, but facts are facts.   Tax increases spur economic growth and more importantly, they help government create a better society with essential services.

The last prosperous time in the U.S. was with President Clinton which saw tax increases.

Eisenhower, the Republican president raised taxes to 90% in the 1950s and those times weren't known for economic stagnation.

But when Bush imposed his tax cuts for the rich in 2001 it created the recession that is why the economy is poor today.    The economy is recovering today thanks to President Obama and new jobs are being created every month.   But we need more revenue and the rich, certainly must pay their fair share.

President Obama will win a second a term in 2012

Why are Republicans wasting their time trying to convince themselves that they can win the White House in 2012?

"They showed us their power. And we're showing them ours"

Despite the tragic events in New York today, the Occupy Movement is alive and well. The deeply unfortunate actions taken by the New York police and by their RepubliCON mayor will not stop people from expression their rights. We cannot allow the rich have to silence speech and people's rights.

By contrast, the Seattle City Council approved a measure in support of Occupy movement. It is a shame that New York could not follow their example.

Here's the latest from http://occupywallst.org:

"They showed us their power. And we're showing them ours."

We are here because we believe a better world is possible. We are willing to endure mistreatment, if by doing so we can help re-enfranchise the 99% and reclaim our democracy from the stranglehold of Wall Street and the top one percent.

We will push back against billionaire Michael Bloomberg and any politician who wantonly tramples on proud American freedoms: freedom of the press, freedom of speech, and the freedom of Americans to peaceably assemble and petition for change.

We will overcome the obstacles placed before us. We will not be deterred. We will persevere. Our message is resonating across America, and our cause is shared by millions around the world. We are the 99%, and we want to live in a world that is for all of us — not just for those who have amassed great wealth and power.

Finally! Gay love scene on GLEE coming up!!!

Gleeks you MUST tune in for next week’s episode of Glee, called “The First Time.” It’s without a doubt one of Glee‘s best installments ever and features two popular couples on the show having sex for the first time.

The couples losing their virginity? Finn and Rachel and…Kurt and Blaine! Yep, the couple — who was featured on the cover of EW’s Gay Teens on TV issue – finally decide to take the next step in their relationship. It’s all handled very delicately and is incredibly moving. I can’t think of another network series that’s taken a teenage gay relationship so far or been so progressive. The moment is instigated when another teen, Warbler member Sebastian (Grant Gustin), aggressively pursues Blaine. The trio actually have a very amusing triple date to West Lima’s only gay bar Scandals and run into none other than Karofsky (Max Adler). Look for a great moment between Karofsky and Kurt.

THANK YOU.  THANK YOU PRESIDENT OBAMA.  HOPE, CHANGE AND PROGRESS!
